Aaron S. Heller
Assistant Professor of Psychology, University of Miami

Aaron is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Miami. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Sackler Institute for Developmental Psychobiology with BJ Casey. He completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Laboratory for Affective Neuroscience and the Waisman Lab for Brain Imaging and Behavior at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

With Center Founder Richard Davidson, Aaron used neuroimaging techniques and ecological momentary assessments to examine the temporal dynamics of positive affective neurocircuitry in mood disorders and in healthy populations.
