Study Details

There are a growing number of programs and experiences aimed at increasing well-being and transformational learning. However, there is very little research available to understand and measure the impact of these programs on participants' well-being. This is a three-year project focused on measuring the impact of interventions to nurture well-being with a partnering organization, the Academy for the Love of Learning.

Center experts are developing novel assessments that draw from techniques such as experience sampling. The findings from these measures and assessments will direct how to cultivate well-being in a variety of settings and in the future will be shared with other organizations focused on transformational learning.

In addition, findings from this research will inform the Academy for the Love of Learning's curriculum and methodologies, supporting the organization’s mission to "awaken, enliven, nurture and sustain the natural love of learning in people of all ages."
