Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) has been shown to be effective in a variety of contexts and is one of the most commonly studied interventions in the field. But little is known whether previous experience with mindfulness-based programs and training is helping people cope with daily stress and mental challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study will expand follow-up with previous participants, including long-term and short-term meditators as well as people with and without asthma, to understand their emotional well-being in this moment and whether there’s a relationship with their state and history of meditation practice.
